High Pressure Sets: High Pressure Sets are used with a CT-Rated catheter and high pressure infuser to infuse radiopaque media quickly through the line. Vygon High Pressure Sets have a maximum 325 psi.

Standardbore Sets: Vygon Standardbore Sets range in Internal Diameter from .095 and up. Mostly used in adult population because of the patient’s size.

Microbore Sets: Vygon Microbore Sets range in Internal Diameter from .038-.094. Mostly used in pediatric or adult population because of the patient’s size.

Minibore Sets: Vygon Minibore Sets range in Internal Diameter from .031-.037. Mostly used in pediatric population because of the patient’s size.

Ultra-Microbore Sets: Vygon Ultra-Microbore Sets range in Internal Diameter from .012-.030. Mostly used in neonatal population because of the patient’s size.

Filtered Sets: Filters capture particulates that enter the line. Particulates can include glass, plastic, or other fibers. Vygon offers a range of sizes. Depending on the application, we offer 0.2, 0.22, and 1.2 mL filters. Applications include, but are not limited to Chemotherapy, Drug Therapy, Insulin Infusion, TPN & Lipid Solutions, Neonatal & Pediatric IV Therapy and Low Volume Pain Control.

Check Valve Sets: Check Valves stop fluid from flowing back up a tube (backtracking). This valve is most commonly used in a Y-site where one fluid is flowing faster than another.

Administration Sets: Administration sets deliver fluids, medications, and nutritional support to the patient through the vein. The fluids are infused over a set period of time, as determined by the clinician. Administration sets are widely used in hospitals and home care. Vygon offers a wide variety of sets and configurations including filters, flow regulators, needleless connectors, and check valves.

Multi-Leg Sets: Vygon offers a wide variety of Multi Leg Extension Sets including Bifurcated, Trifurcated, and Quadfurcated. These sets allow simultaneous infusions and can also be used to administer two solutions that are incompatible.

Stopcocks & Stopcock Set: A Stopcock is a valve that regulates flow through the lines. It can turn off one solution and turn on another. The direction of the handle indicates which line is in use

Anti-Siphon Valves: Anti-Siphon Valves prevent “downloading”, which can occur if there is a small defect in the syringe, which would normally cause all the medication to “empty” at one time. These are most commonly used with a syringe pump due to the opening pressure.

Enteral: Also called tube feeding; provides food/liquids through the GI tract.
